Victoria Aisenberg

Regional Vice President of Sales

“Taking risks is scary, but the outcome could be even greater than you expect.”

Tell us about where you work and what you do there.

I am a Regional Vice President of Sales at Salesforce Commerce Cloud, managing a team of Account Executives that specialize in high-growth retail brands. I have been with Commerce Cloud, formerly Demandware, for 10 whole years, so I’ve seen our products evolve with the industry. It has been so incredibly inspiring to support brands in infancy and watch them grow rapidly.

How would you describe yourself?

My team calls me “Mom Boss,” which actually sums it up perfectly. Though I’m from Boston, I currently live outside of Fort Lauderdale with my husband, identical twin five-year-old boys, a two-year-old girl, two lively golden retrievers, and our nanny, so there really is never a dull moment.

When I’m not at home steering the ship, I like to spend my time discovering new ways to better myself and challenge my brain. My passion is cultivating relationships and connecting with others in unique ways, so sales has always been an ideal career for me. I am extremely authentic, loyal, and inquisitive, which has led to some incredible relationships (and stories!) throughout my life. But I like to have fun, too. I’m a foodie at heart, so take me to your favorite unique restaurant, and I’m yours forever!

What do you think has been your biggest professional success so far?

The biggest successes in my career have always been when I take a big risk. I’m usually very risk-averse, so this story is one that stands out to me. About a year ago, Salesforce hosted our Sales Kickoff for our Commerce Cloud Sales Teams. I was approached by our Enablement leader and was asked if I wanted to be the example for the entire team for a whiteboard exercise that demonstrates Commerce Cloud’s value. I began rapid-firing questions: “How long is this pitch? Do I have to present to the team live? How long will I have to practice?” As all the worry began rolling in and taking over my thoughts, I somehow turned off the faucet, took a deep breath, and pushed forward. The first day of the kickoff, I stood up in front of about 150 people, including our CEO, SVP of Sales, all of my peers — let’s not forget the video recorder — and delivered a 15–minute presentation, CONFIDENTLY. For me, this moment wasn’t just about recognition. It proved to me that I really can do anything I put my mind to. Ever since this moment, my career has accelerated. Taking risks is scary, but the outcome could be even greater than you expect.

Where do you find inspiration?

As a mom of what seems to be like a hundred kids, it’s rare that I get a minute alone. I recently got a Peloton, and I honestly find that those 20-60 minutes throughout my day is where I can refocus myself and energize my mind.

Name an eCommerce brand you admire and why.

Kathy Kuo Home, an exquisitely curated online retailer for designer furniture and home decor guaranteed to elevate your home living. Kathy, the founder, is honestly one of the most incredible women I’ve ever met in all my years in this industry. She’s a wife, mother, cook, world traveler, CEO, and designer. I’ve spent the past year and a half getting to know Kathy, and every time I see her, I learn something new. What’s most remarkable is that she is one of those people who can perform any role within her company — she understands all of her technology, systems, partners, shipping provider fees and routes, etc, because she involves herself in the day-to-day. She’s beyond intelligent, always puts her customers first, and truly wears her heart on her sleeve — not to mention her products are also stunning. Whenever I meet a well-established woman like Kathy, I can’t help but feel motivated and inspired. That is what makes me love her company and brand so much.

What do you geek out over?

Okay, so don’t make fun of me, but I absolutely love organizing people’s lives – anything from their bedroom, closet, kitchen, calendar, schedule, etc. When I was younger, my best friend’s mom used to call me over to clean her room and organize her bedroom (she still does to this day!).

What's your guilty pleasure?

Nutella. It really is my weakness. When I was pregnant (both times), I would literally go through a whole jar each week.
